La Leche League Slates Meeting The McHenry-Fox Lake La Leche League will hold its meeting Wed­ nesday, Sept. 14, at7:30 p.m. and the topic will be the Advantages of Breastfeeding. Pregnant women will find this meeting most helpful in making an informed decision about breastfeeding. Nursing babies are always welcome. La is a self-help group dedicated to promoting good mothering through breastfeeding and mother to mother sharing. It provides moral support by mother to mother contact and help when needed. The group also has a lending library with many outstanding books on childbirth, nutrition and breastfeeding.
