Green, 47. of 7907 Oakwood, Wonder Lake, died Saturday, Oct. 8. in Tipton, IA, while enroute home from a vacation. He was born Jan. 26, 1986, in Wayne, OK, to O'Neal and Ruth (Hawkins) Green. Mr. Green was a six-month resident of Wonder Lake and had lived in McHenry the five years prior to that. He was a retired U.S. Marine Corps Gunneiy Sgt., last stationed at Camp LeJeune, N.C., with 20 art of honorable service ; and ilonged to the Wauconda Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 1169 of Wonder Surviving are his wife Virginia (Gavin) whom he married March 7, 1975, in Waukegan, IL; four children at home, daughters Holly, Lyn and Heather Anne, and a son Daryl; three sons in California, Norman, Ronald and David; and two grandchildren. Also surviving are his parents; two sisters, Jane and Ofceka, both of Texas; and three brothers, Patrick, Dale and Jesse, all of Oklahoma. Visitation was scheduled from 5:80 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the George R. Justen k Son Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday with a U.S. Marine Corps Chaplain from Glen view Naval Air Base officiating. Visitation will also be held atl p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, in the Little, Conner, Spalin Funeral Home, Purcell, OK, with full military honors. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Purcell.
