The new owner, Pete Douvikai, laid the diner has taken on a new look and offers a complete breakfast, lunch and inner menu seven days per week. Every night specials will also be offered, featuring "all you can eat" and salad bar. Christmas parties, weddings and banquets can be held at Johnsburg Inn with a capacity of up to 150 people. Sunderlage of the Sunderlage Insurance A£ency has been appointed to serve as vice chairman of the National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU) Multiple Line Agents Committee, announced Robert Hughes, C.L.U., president Washington D.C. association at its convention. Hughes explained that the committee is responsible for observing all federal legislation action which effects property and casualty insurance, developing career education programs, and developing and administrating the NALU Multiple Line Achievement and of the based Chicago Award program. Each member of the committee will also be assigned to serve as a liaison to various state associations. Sunderlage will also serve as chairman of the sub committee to develop and administer the Achievement and Award Program for Miltiple Line Agents. Sunderlage has been a member of NALU for fifteen years, is the current president­ elect of the Illinois Association of Life Underwriters and is a past president and charter member of the McHenry County •' Association .. of Life Underwriters. He resides with his wife "Sunny" in Woodstock. Dave Backhaus, Country nies insurance agent in McHenry County, recently completed the companies' Commercial Insurance School. The advanced sales training course was conducted in October in the Country Companies home office in Bloomington. Country Companies, affiliated with the Illinois Farm Bureau, is a group of insurance and investment service companies, including Country Life. Country Mutual and Country Casualty Insurance Companies, and Country Capital Management Company. In the Commercial Insurance School the agent studies the important coverages in several lines of commercial insurance including liability, property, crime and auto. . Backhuas of McHenry joined the Country Companies as an agent in February, 1983. •, u, LOAN PROGRAM Changes in DCCA's Energy Conservation Loan program mean small businesses can now borrow up to $6,000 for 10 years interest tree. To qualify for a loan a business must have assets of under $6 million with a net annual income of less than $2 million. McHenry O'Hare has new owners The McHenry O'Hare Limousine Service is now under new ownership. Ed and Linaa Anderson have purchased the business from its founders, Wayne and Chris Amore. The takeover took place on Oct. 1, four years after the business' start. The new owners recently moved to McHenry from fcl Wheaton, IL, and bring with them 10 years of experience in the limousine business.
