Add melted chocolate and chestnut purle to egg yolks with vanilla and cof­ fee. Blend egg whites into choco la te mix ture (by hand) . Ref r ige ra te un t i l ready to use for trifle. Cnoose a lovely crystal bowl (1-1 Vi quarts). Place x layer of spongecake at bot torn. Sprinkle some rum o the sponge . Cove*- th_ sponge wi th a l ayer o f mousse , then whipped cream. Repeat until sponge, rum, and mousse are used. Leave enough whipped cream to decorate the top. Garnish the top with mar­ rons and shaved chocolate. The trifle may also be made wi th l adyf ingers .
