George Van Zevem, right, publisher of Boat and Motor Dealer magazine, presents award to Edward P. Hansen of McHenry. The Boat and Motor Dealer magazine award for the 1963 Dealer of the Year was awarded to Edward P. Hansen, Hansen Marine Service, McHenry, at the International Marine Trade Exhibit and Conference, held at McCormick Place. The Dealer of the Year was recognized for merchandising and management excellence. The B&MD editorial staff selected the Dealer of the Year considering the following area: service emphasis, employee relations, sales history, use of promotion and advertising, public relations and management skills.
