In order to provide extras not made available by tax monies, parents throughout the years have worked with the teachers in a parent-teacher organization. The present Hilltop Parent Teacher group has a serious shortage of concerned adults. In order to continue programs such as the "Art Awareness," Junior Olympics with tropies, flak) trips, holiday parties and the. purchase of much needed equipment, more adults need to be involved. Phyllis CrosweU is the secretary of the HPTO. You need not be a parent of a youngster at Hilltop to offer your services. The purpose of the organisation is to give our youngsters more opportunities to survive in the world of the future. Perhaps older residents have something of value to give to our children, such as time and knowledge.. The Hilltop Parents Teachers Organisation meets the first Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the Learning Center at Hmtop School. CaSs85-2247 for more information.
