Worth, were united in Holy Matrimony Saturday, Nov. 26, in Keller Church of Christ, Ft. Worth. The bride is the daughter of Carol and Dora Bailey, 2201 W. Fairview Ave., McHenry. Vernon and Shirley Williams of Ft. Worth are the parents of the bridegroom. The 2 p.m. ceremony was performed by Carol D. Bailey, before an altar decorated with candles, flowers and a Unity candle. Special music for the occasion, provided by close friends, included "Twelfth of Never," "Longer Than," "One Hand, One Heart," "Father Hear The Prayer We Offer," and "Because." The bride wore an off-the- shoulder, princess style gown of soft lace over satin, featuring long lace sleeves, and a bodice embellished with beads. Her veil was secured to a halo headpiece *vf small white flowew and baby's breath; and to complete the look, white, yellow and pink flowers, garnished with baby's breath, were cradled in her arm. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Carolyn Green of McHenry. Bridesmaids were Toni Evans of Arlington, TX, Peggy Newton of Keller, TX, and Janet Coleman of Ft. Worth. Attendants were attired in dusty rose chiffon formals, styled with an off-the-shoulder neckline. Their heads were graced with halos of silk pink, yellow and a touch of blue flowers, accented with baby's breath; and their bouquets echoed the treatment of the head pieces. Sarah Green of McHenry and Amy Newton of Keller were the flower girls. They were similarly attired to the at tendants and carried baskets of the same flowers. Handling the duties of best man was Brian Williams of Ft. Worth. Groomsmen were Reese Pettigrew of Ft. Worth, Ray Byrd of Dallas, and Mac of Ft. Worth. Nathan Green of McHenry was the ring bearer. The mother of the bride chose a street length dress of purple silk and matching shoes. A street length dress of mauve satin and matching shoes was the choice of the groom's mother. A reception for 150 friends and relatives was held at the church immediately following the nuptials. The newlyweds enjoyed a week-long honeymoon in Can- cun, Mexico and are presently residing at 332 Chateau, Ft. Worth. The new Mrs. Williams graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. degree in Education and is a teacher for the learning disabled. Her husband, a graduate of Texas A & M University, is employed by Caltex Petroleum as a Financial Analyst. Alpha Theta Chapter enjoys Dec. brunch at country club Alpha Theta Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, International (an honorary teachers' sorority) had a December Brunch at the Turn- berry Country Club, Crystal Lake, on Saturday, Dec. 3. Some members of Gamma Psi/ a sister organization, were also present. The business meeting con sisted of committee reports and an announcement of the January 29 cultural outing, which will be a lunch and play at Pheasant Run in St. Charles. Nancy Tober presided. Boarini infant is baptized Jennifer Joy Boarini of Maplewood, MN was baptized Friday evening, Nov. 25, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg. Her parents, Jim and Joy Boarini, chose to have the ceremony at that church so all of Jennifer's relatives could participate. The Reverend Mr. Tobin, Deacon of St. John's, performed the sacrament. Godparents for the infant were Kathy Nihill of Wheeling and Scott Hettermann of Johnsburg, an aunt and uncle. Dave Rothery of St. Charles, MO, another uncle, was proxy in place of Scott, who was par ticipating in Marian Central's state championship football game in Bloomington. After the church service, a celebration was held for Jen nifer in the Hettermann home on Spring Grove Road. Joining in the festivities were Jim and Peg Boarini, Jim and Betty Het termann, the baby's grand parents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. songs was presented by the Crystal Lake Congregational Church Bell Choir. Before and after the meeting, craft articles were offered for purchase by the .Native American Project Committee. Proceeds from these sales, to be used for Navajo Indian scholarships, are sent to the Navajo Community College at Tsaile, AZ. The Feb. 13 meeting will be held at Northwood School, Woodstock.
