Survivors are his wife Grace of Berwyn; a son, Dr. Gregory Eckstein of McHenry; two grandchildren, Gregory Jr. and Michael of McHenry; and a sister Gertrude Kozderka. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Friday at the Linhart Funeral Home, 6820 W. Cejmak Rd., Berwyn, until the time of service at 9:30 a.m. in St. Odilo Church; with entombment in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Hillside, IL. The Reverend Charles J. Heaney, 70, died Monday Dec. 5, in Resurrection Hospital, Chicago. A priest since 1937, Father Heaney was pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church in Volo from 1973 until he retired in Sep­ tember of 1983. He had previously been pastor St. Malachy parish in Chicago and HEANEY Our Lady of Loretto parish in Hometown; and was an army chaplain in the Pacific area during WW II. Surviving are two sisters, Margaret M. Artman and Catherine E. Heaney. A Funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Juliana Catholic Church, 7400 W. Touhy Ave., Chicago. She was 88 years old, born in Chicago Dec. 21, 1894, the daughter of Sylvester and Mary (Roskopf) Post. Mrs. Moerschbaecher lived in Crystal Lake since 1972, having come from Chicago, and had been a summer resident in the McHenry area since 1924. Surviving are a son Joseph M. (Geraldine), Jr. of McHenry; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Heath of McHenry; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph M., Sr., in January of 1968; two sisters, Helen Dietzsch and Martha Cassin; and two brothers^ Sylvester Post and Walter Week. A Funeral Mass will be con­ ducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Ignatius Catholic church, 6659 N. Glenwood Ave. Chicago. Friends may call at the Peter M.
