The purpose of the campaign, the Council said, is to invite religious organizations to join in the^crusade of reducing ac­ cidents and saving lives, thereby living out the truth of their religious convictions.. National Safety Sabbath will be observed Feb. 10-14, in conjunction with Valentine's Day weekend. The Council said that caring for the well-being of another person is probably the greatest gift of love that can be shown someone. Areas of emphasis in the campaign will Include in­ formation on the dangers of drinking and driving, the need to wear safety belts and fasten children in child safety seats, and the value of installing smoke detectors in the home. Campaign kits contain posters, hand-outs, program planning guides and other materials which provide information on these special safety areas. Religious organizations or persons interested in receiving a free kit should write to the Religious Activities Depart­ ment, National Safety Council, 444 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, 111. 60611.
