- # DEATHS • HANFORD Fordyce G. "Ford" Hanford of McHenry died Monday, Dec. W, at his home. He was 85 years old, born in Lansing, MI Feb. 2, 1898, the son of David and Luella (Wager) Hanford. Mr. Hanfordlived in McHenry since 1951, having come from Spring Grove. He was a retired dairy farmer in the Spring Grove area and had worked for George P. Freund, Inc. for about 10 years after his retirement. He belonged to McHenry Barracks 1315 of the Veterans of WW I. Surviving are his wife Christine (Freund), whom he married 62 years ago on Oct. 26, 1921, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Spring Grove; two sons, William (Jessie) of Downers Grove and Robert (Helen) of Spooner, WI; two daughters, Mrs. Leo (Luella) Braidman of McHenry and Mrs. Robert (Edna) McClain of Big Bear City, CA. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, McHenry, with burial in St. Peter's Ceirtetery, Spring Grove. Visitation was scheduled from 3 to 9 pm. Tuesday at the Peter M. Justen & Son Funeral Home. MAY Martitf M. May, 74, a Fox Lake-Spring Grove area resident over 40 years, and co- owner of WATTS Marina, Fox Lake over 25 years, died Thursday, Dec. 15, at McHenry Hospital. He was born Dec. 30, 1908, and had served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. . Surviving are his wife Nora May, nee Watts, of Spring Grove; two daughters, Mrs. James (Nora) Bowgren of Spring Grove and Mrs. Bruce (Nancy) Muehlfelder of Florida; two sisters, Mrs. John (Frances) Sheets and Mrs. Anton (Hilda) Meyer, both of Spring Grove; two grand­ children, Zachary and Anne Bowgren;. and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles May. Memorial services were scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, Fox Lake, with the Rev. Vincent Fish of­ ficiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of ser­ vices. -- HOLLEK Constance K. Hollek, 77, of Glen Ellyn, IL died Thursday, Dec. 15, at McHenry Hospital. She was born Nov. 9, 1906, in Chicago, the daughter of Gust and Daisy Katsulos. Mrs. Hollek was a 30-year resident of Fox Lake, Glen Ellyn and the Sunnyside area. Surviving are two nephews, Noel (Patricia) Parisi of McHenry and DavidN( Virginia) Parisi of Glen Ellyn; and a* niece, Mrs. Ben (Susan) In- durante of Las Vegas. » She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip; a sister Marie Parisi; and two brothers, Anthony and Nicholas Katsulos. Visitation was from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, where funeral services were conducted at 10 a.to. Saturday, with the Reverend Marlow Shoop of­ ficiating, and interment in Monaville Cemeter^, Fox Lake. --TEICHMILLER Esther Teichmiller, 88, of McHenry, died Monday, Dec. 19, at Royal Terrace, McHenry. She was born March 24, 1895, in Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Emilea (Rehmann) Arndt. A resident of the area for the past four years, formerly of Broadview, IL, Mrs. Teich­ miller was an associate member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Surviving are two sons, William (Joan) of McHenry and David (Nancy) of Fulton, CA; eight grandchildren ; four great­ grandchildren and one sister, Ruth Binder of Royal Terrace. She was preceded in death by her husband William, Jan. 25, 1980; and a son Eldred, in 1970. Visitation was scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the George R. Justen & Son Fdheral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shepherd of the Hills, with the Rev. Roger W. Schneider officiating, and in­ terment in Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Memorials would be ap­ preciated to the church. --Dl RAIMONDO Mildred M. nine-year resident of McHenry, died Sunday, Dec. 18, at Nor­ thwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago. She was born in Italy May 21, 1919. Surviving are a daughter, Mvs. Nicky (Joanne) Massarelli of McHenry; a son Frank DiRaimondo of Lombard, IL; and three grandchildren. Other survivors are three sisters, Josephine Messina of Stickney, IL, Rose Knappe of Palos Hills, IL and Adelle Woods of Villa Park, IL; and four brothers, Mike Nativo of Summit, John Nativo of Sacramento, CA, Lawrence Nativo of Palm Strings, CA and Pete Nativo of Worth, IL. Visitation was scheduled from 4 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, at the Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 229 S. Main St., Lombard. Services will be held at the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. Thursday; a Funeral Mass will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Lombard; and in­ terment will be in Mt.
