Her drawing of two cardin&ls on a pine branch was chosen by MCC President Bob Bartlett to adorn the official college Christmas card. She will be listed on the card as designer/ and will receive cards for her own use. An adult returning student in Joe Rybacek's Design I class, Ms. Knapp is a full time MCC student. She says, "Joe Rybacek is a fascinating instructor. He's interesting and bring out your creative potential." She is anxious to further her education under his tutelage and hopes to go on to study fashion design at the Art Institute in Chicago after completion of her studies at MCC. "The Scandinavians have unusual designs for clothes and printing on fabrics," she says. "I got a lot of inspiration from them" The fanning of her en thusiasm for design has led her to design her own shoes, and clothes for herself and for gifts. McHenry County College President Bob Bartlett, right, admires the art work chosen to adorn the college's official 1983 Christmas card. The winning entry in the annual MCC Christmas Card Design Contest was submitted by Terri Knapp, center, of Richmond, who is a student in Joe Rybacek's Design I class. Rybacek is at left.
