McHenry County Sheriff's Police were called to the home of Virginia Fendt, 514 Mineral Springs, McHenry, where the incident occurred. The police report said Michael Maron, 31, of that address struck Ms. Fendt during an argument Maron also attempted to strike investigating officers, resulting in his arrest. ^ Bond was set at $2,050. The property belonged to Charles Campo, of McHenry. Kimberly Waychunas, 806 Wright Road, McHenry, reported the theft of two diamond rings from a jewelry box at her home. The rings were valued at $308, ac­ cording to police. County police are also looking into two thefts from vehicle parked at Gearmaster Division, 1809 S. Route 31, McHenry.
