On Family Sunday, the 8:20 a.m. worship service is com bined with the 10:50 a.m. Service so that families may all worship together as much as possible. Pastor Merle D. Conklin will continue with his evangelism series 4 with a message? based on I Corinthians 15:1-10, "First of All - The Gospel". At the evening Bible fellowship hour which begins at 6 p.m., Pastor Conklin will have a message entitled, "Where Is The Lord God of Elijah?" The books for the adult Sun day School class arrived last Sunday and teacher, Randy Anderson, completed his in troduction to the series, "Knowing God". The size of the class continues to grow, but there is always plenty of room for more people. Dave Madsen completed the explanation of a time line regarding the rapture and tribulation, and the first part of the class time will continue with a discussion of various church constitutions. There are Sunday School classes for children from two years old to 92 years old. Nursery care is provided for infants. Visitors are always welcome. ^jffgeneral^^™ News MENTAL HEALTH i continued from page 1 ANOTHER YEAR continued from page 1 Snowplow reported stolen McHenry County Sheriff's Police investigated the theft of a snowplow and hydraulic lines from a home at 614 Bald Knob Road, McHenry. The plow was the property of Dranoel Allen, of that address. County police also received a report of tools stolen from the tool compartment of a General Telephone Co. truck parked at 3810 E. Wonder Lake Road, Wonder Lake. Police said the thief crawled under a fence to get to the truck. Board members also noted that because of reduced and limited funding now available it is faced with making programs more cost effective and more self supporting. It must also accurately prioritize, fund allocations in order to maintain effective existing programs and to establish needed new ones. Chemical abuse and family problems are more recent areas into which the mental health services have extended. Dennis Smith, executive director for the systems, suggested a point system to evaluate the goals to aid in prioritizing the spending of available monies. Several board members agonized over the relative importance of programs for serving existing clients versus programs designed to prevent or minimize mental illness or developmental disabilities. woman down with his vehicle. 1^ was a negligent and reckless act," the judge said. "But there is no evidence that he attempted to murder her." In his directed finding, the judge explained that the state must present sufficient evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. The decision of state's Prison Parole and Pardon Board means that Blasuis will remain in prison until at least Feb. 1, 1985-the earliest date his case can be reviewed, authorities said. Blasuis was paroled in 1976 in Illinois after serving a prison term on a murder conviction. He was later convicted in Wisconsin on sex offenses and placed in the state health care center until February, 1982. He was then returned to Illinois jurisdiction and paroled again on Jan. 1, 1983.
