Drama group to perform at area church Hie Covenant Players, an international repertory drama group, will give a special per­ formance at Shepherd of Hills Lutheran Church, 404 North Green Street, McHenry, during the mid-week Lenten worship service Wednesday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. The Covenant Players utilize a unique kind of drama. With a repertoire of over 900 plays, the group allows a febability to communicate a variety of themes, issues, and subject matter. Using everything from light comedy to heavy drama, fiction, and Biblical charac­ terizations, they present their Christian message. On April 4, the group will dramatize the theme of Stewardship, during the worship service. One of 85 touring groups in the company, the group performing at Shepherd of the Hills will consist of four single people. They will join the congregation for the family pot- luck supper that evening just prior to worship. Housing arrangements for the Covenant Players have been made through two families of the congregation.
