The ^irst peace link will take place at goon April 1 in front of the First Presbyterian Church, Dunton end Eastman Streets, Arlington heights. \ Jayne R. Liptrot of McHenry jis local coordinator. After the carillon chimes, the jv. Peter Bowman, pastor of 3§t. James Catholic Church in ^Arlington Heights, will give the invocation. "People will link "hands and we'll see how far we jgo - we hope to St. John's United ;£hurch of Christ -one long block la way," says the organizers. Although participants will be symbolically linking churches, the movement is a civic rather than a religious action and anyone interested is invited to participate. Through the peace link the group hopes to give people a source of continuing action. This is for people who don't want to become totally involved, but want to do something to affect the national dialogue on nuclear arms or a freeze. By their physical presence they can express their feelings. They feel the peace link is "a graphic, convenient, peaceful way of doing something". Highway, Barrington 3811110 B" •PP°in«™n« Michael Zaslow brings a wealth of experience from the Broadway stage, films and prime time television to his role as enigmatic David Renaldi, orchestra conductor and a former revolutionary who has a way of attracting and intriguing women in ABC's One Life to live. And like the character he plays, Michael also is a pianist who writes songs. A Californian by birth, Michael spent most of his childhood in New York and returned to Los Angeles as a teenager. He went on to the University of California-Los Angeles where he was graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in political science. But gifted with a rich baritone voice, Michael began performing professionally even during his university years. He appeared in several presentations of the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera Company and toured the Orient playing Billy Bigelow in 'Carousel' for the USO. The same year he graduated from college, he had a running role in the prime time series Star Trek, and started making guest appearances on such programs as Slattery's People, Custer, and Long Hot Summer and later on Lou Grant, Barnaby Jones and Rafferty.
