Booth Set Up at Trade Shows Memorial Hospital is participating in several commun­ ity Health Fairs and Trade Shows this spring and summer. The Education Department has prepared literature and designed displays to inform the public of services provided by Memorial Hospital. The first presentation was at the mid-March program sponsored by the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce at the McHenry County College. A similar program was presented at the McHenry Chamber of Commerce trade fair at the end of March. Dee pudelier, dietitian, and her staff, organized the presentation at the Crystal Point Mall's health fair. The theme stressed the importance of good nutrition as an integral p£rt of each day's food selection. Pat Beard, director of education, will prepare a display for a Fitness Fair at McHenry County College in mid- April, the McHenry County Fair August 1-5 and the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce's Business Show­ case in mid-September. Mrs. Beard said the various presentations will focus on patient and public education. Programs aimed at helping patients maintain good health by preventive measures appointed out, one of Memorial Hospital's responsi­ bilities as the health care center for McHenry county. Memorial Hospital is reaching out to the public with presenta­ tions at trade shows, health fairs, and the McHenry County fair.
