X-- Helen Parnaby Named Social Services Head Helen Parnaby is the di­ rector of social services at Memorial Hospital. Her du­ ties include helping patients and their families in plan­ ning for discharge from the hospital and keeping in con­ tact with patients to offer help during hospitalization. Helen helps patients cope with their concerns during difficult, times and arranges for referrals as needed fol­ lowing their return home. She obtained her Master's Degree frorp the University of Illinois in social work and worked as a social services administrator with the McHenry County Senior Citizens Council before joining the Memorial Hospital staff. She has worked with family service agencies, public welfare departments, and mental health clinics and as a social worker in public schools. Helen and her husband, Richard, have\two sons.
