"If you catch kids when they're young enough and teach fiie right techniques it doesn't take as long," he added. "I've noticed in my Little League team, even in my own son, at times there's just a few things you're doing wrong. When you're coaching a team you just don't have the time to work with just one kid the whole practice. You've got to give attention to all of them. Otherwise, they get bored and so on. "Until you get them for a week at a time, Monday through Friday,. that's when you can really give some good in struction. And that's what we're striving for-good quality in struction and I feel we're going to give them that." That means everything from batting cages to video tape machines. That's what I'm really striving for," Biittner added. "A lot of times at sum mer camps they just take their kids there and it's a babysitting type thing for four or five hours. This isn't going to be that way., These kids who sign up are going to work, they're going to learn some things." Obviously, Biittner isn't ready for the pasture yet. •X jwJ!
