WEDDING BELLS Saturday afternoon, May 26, a lovely garden reception took place at the home of Bill and Elaine Gleeson on Park View. The happy occasion was the marriage of their daughter Gail Anne to Michael Sedey, son of Dawn Miller 385-4901 Frank and Inga Sedey of Palatine. Forty friends and family members gathered to offer best wishes to the happy couple. Out of town guests included Gail's grandparents, Ray and Elizabeth Fisher, of Florida, Mary Siwek of Chicago, and uncle Bob, Emilie and Chris of Chicago. A delicious buffet featuring Italian beef, ham, salads and Bill's famous baked beans was enjoyed by all. A beautiful and luscious strawberry whipped cream wedding cake was served Pictures were taken by Val Klapperich, a dear neighbor. PARTY Ashlie Lasco celebrated her fourth birthday Wednesday, May 30, with a Cabbage Patch Birthday Party. Her guests included her brother Todd, Lennie, Amy and Kevin Har well, Katy and Kristle Low, Vickie Salz, Melissa Drake, Abby Christensen, Kristie Ratley and Jeff and Kristie Lundy. And everyone was so surprised when her aunt Debbie and cousin Luke pulled up all the way from Champaign, 111. The kids played Bozo buckets, hot potato and relay races where they had to sit on their balloons and pop them. The weather was beautiful, so they played outside on their new gym set before sitting on the deck for cabbage patch cake and ice cream. Ashlie received many darling gifts, but her favorite was without a doubt her new cab bage patch baby, Bo. And it didn't stop there. The last guest, Kathy Lundy surprised Amy Harwell with her very own doll that she had found for Nancy Harwell to give to Amy. The two girls never put them down. To top the night off, the family, along with aunt Deb and Luke, spent the evening at a pizza place, a tradition on their birthdays.
