She was born May 28, 1984, the infant daughter of Dr. Zbigniew "Ted" and Connie (Hulsebus) Lorenc. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Jennifer and Ann Katherine; 6 " Bessie B. Ray Bessie B. Ray, 86, of McHenry, died Monday, June 11 in Memorial Hospital for McHenry County, Woodstock. She was born July 2, 1897. Mrs. Ray was a longtime resident of the McHenry area until recently moving to Woodstock. . Surviving are a grandson, Donald Ray, and former daughter-in-law, Patricia Wightman. She was preceded in death by and a brother Casimir, all of Crystal Lake. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Querhammer Funeral Home, Crystal Lake, with interment in Crystal Lake Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the High Risk New Born Nur­ sery in Rockford Memorial Hospital. her husband Theodore in 1968; a son Donald in 1959; and both parents. Private visitation was held at •3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, with graveside services at 4 p.m. in Woodland Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Thomas Lowery of the First United Methodist Church. Memorials in her name may be made to one's favorite charitv. William E. Pierce, Sr., 2811 Bayview Lane, McHenry, said he was exiting a parking lot in the 3500 block of Elm Street, and as he entered the westbound lane, an eastbound vehicle struck his car. The driver of the other vehicle, Rogelio F. Trujillo, 54 Rushmore, Fox Lake, was ticketed for improper lane usage. John J. Haley, 4410 W. Lakewood, McHenry, was cited for failure to yield the right-of- way after he attempted to make a left turn from Maple Avenue onto Richmond Road and struck another vehicle. The body of 23-year-old Susan Gruber, Schaumburg, was pulled from the river by fire department personnel about 300 feet south of the Algonquin bridge shortly after the 6:22 p.m. tragedy.
