All classes will be taught by professional artists who per­ form throughout the Faire. In addi t ion, wide-ranging workshops are conducted just before and during the Faire by • specifically commissioned in­ structors. All city and town residents are invited to see firsthand how farm animals and crops are raised. ITie entire family will be at the farm to show what life is really like "down on the farm." Open and free to the public, Farm Visit Day is sponsored by the farm and commodity groups in each county and coordinated by the University of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service. Each farm will be different and visitors are encouraged to visit several farms. Participating counties have prepared pamphlets, available from the County Extension Offices, providing further details about the farms. The theatrical interpretation of a Renaissance Faire at festival time is scheduled for weekends July 7 through August 19. Applicants must demonstrate training in at least one of the five the seven weekends and selected weekday afternoons and or evenings prior to the Faire, he said. Applicants to the 1984 ap­ prenticeship program must send a letter specifying why they wish to enroll in the program, enclose a resume, picture and references. Applicants meeting the basic requirements will be contacted by telephone at which time an interview will be scheduled. The State Health Department is accepting applications from entities capable of providing maternal and child health services aimed at reducing infant mortality and preventive health and health services aimed at comprehensive health services.
