The Eagles were led in hitting by Todd Busche and Rich Svejcar. Robins 13, Cardinals 3: (June 17) Pat Crown batted four-for- ,four and was the winning pit­ cher. Crow hit two doubles and two triples, while only allowing one hit off the mound. Hawks 12, Eagles 11: (June .22) Chris Mays, filling in for an injured Eagle, hit his first homerun, a two-run shot. Jeff Glab batted three-for-three, slugging a homer and two triples. Ryan Boland, Kevin Brown and Ryan Klopfenstein all contributed singles. Johnsburg majors Johnslmrg Indians 12, Wonder Lake Angels 4: (June 22) Mike Lewallen led a 17-hit winning attack with a homerun and a double, while Jim Rorig batted three-for-three with two doubles. Scott Banaszynski also batted three-for-three and Joel Taylor added two hits. Trevor Hart was the winning pitcher, allowing only five hits and striking out eight. Indians 12, Orioles 3: (June 10) Jim Rorig batted four-for- four, hitting triple and scoring three times to lead the winners. Mike Lewallen also tripled and scored three times, while Kary Olsen and Lee Helmandollar had two hits. Helmandollar was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts. JOhnsburg Indians 15, Wonder Lake A's 5: (June 14) Dan Spung and Trevor Hart each homered and Tom Smith batted three-for- three to lead the winners. Scott Banaszynski hit a three-run double. Kary Olsen was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts. Johnsburg Yankees 16, McHenry Orioles 7: Matt Lavin slammed two doubles for four rfoi's, while A1 Lavin added three hits to lead the winners. Matt Hennigan and Billy Gahlbeck both added two hits. Frank Good was the winning pitcher. Pigtail Seniors Favorite Sport 8, Kiwanis 4: (June 26) Kiwanis shortstop Melissa Tobeck broke a scoreless tie in the top of the fourth inning with a two-run homer. Favortie Sport responded in the bottom of the fourth added one more in the fifth inning. Kiwanis tied the contest with two runs in the top of the sixth inning, but Favorite Sport came back with four runs in the bottom of the sixth to win. Venus Obara doubled for Favorite Sport, while Christy Johnson, Candy Butler and Stephanie Quantz all had two hits each. Johnson was the winning pitcher with 11 strikeouts. Pete's Girls 11, McHenry Savings and Loan 2: (June 20) Erin Resko's homer and Kim Belzer's homer lead a Pete's Girls 14-hit attack. Resko, Belzer and Angie West all had two hits, while Belzer knocked in three runs. Jenny Acred tripled for McHenry Savings, while Amy Comer added two hits. Belzer was the winning pitcher, allowing only four hits and striking out 14. I Lockers Flowers 15, Kiwanis 14: Lockers Flowers carried a 15-6 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning and held on fpr the win. Jenny Samen and Amy Stolle each tripled for the winners. Debbie Cheatham doubled twice and Karen Hiller also doubled. Chris Roper doubled twice and singled for Kiwanis, while Melissa Tobeck homered and doubled. Catherine Kupstis was the winning pitcher. Lockers Flowers 20, McHenry State Bank 4: Lockers Flowers sprayed out 16 hits to score the 20 runs. Jenny Samen and Amy Stolle led the hitting attack each batting three-for-three.
