GYM REPAIRS »•«< 1 ROCKFORD-A pedestrian struck by a car on Illinois 173 near Harvard during the weekend died Monday morning at Rockford's St. Anthony Hospital, the Winnebago County coroner's office said. Danny W. Reynolds, 25, of Capron, died at 9:45 a.m. Monday, according to Coroner John Seward of Winnebago County. The driver of the auto, 18- year-old Randy Brown of Poplar Grove, told sheriffs police that he saw Reynolds in the roadway and tried unsuccessfully to avoid him. His car ended up in a ditch, but Brown and his two passengers were reportedly uninjured. "Mrs. Gealow is an ex perienced, certified math teacher who volunteered her time despite a very busy per sonal schedule," said Dodds. Ekstrom Margit A. Ekstrom, 80, of Crystal Lake, died Wednesday, June 27, at Crystal Pines Nur sing Home, Crystal Lake. She was born April 22, 1904, in Malmo, Sweden, the daughter of Johan and Anna (Kloo) Ed- strom. Miss Ekstrom was a member of Bethany Lutheran Chruch of Crystal Lake and the Lutheran Church Women; Ladies of Viking of Crystal Lake; and the Crystal Lake Senior Citizens Club. She had been an employee of Oak Industries over 25 years. Surviving are many nieces and nephews in the McHenry and Crystal Lake area, in* eluding Lillian Larson of McHenry. I She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m., in Bethany Lutheran Church, with the Reverend Nathan Anderson officiating.
