Carlton continued his dominance of the spectator stocks race as he chalked up another double win in a heat and the 15-lap feature last Saturday Carlton seized the lead from Bob Schweiss of Fox Lake with five laps to go, and went on to record his sixth consecutive race triumph. Bob Fleming of McHenry finishes fourth in the race. Duke and Sid Norton of Wonder Lake finished fourth and fifth, respectively in the late model sportsmen category. Odds .and Ends Notebook: All else being equal, a normal 250-yard drive hit off a 90-foot high Bicycle club to hold July meeting tonight McHenry County Bicycle Club (MCBC) will hold its July meeting tonight, July 13, at 7:30 p.m. at McHenry County College. The Friday meeting represents a change from the usual summer format of Thursday meetings. There will be a short ride prior to the meeting, leaving from the college parking lot a 6 p.m. This will be a leisurely ride of 10 miles. Room location of the meeting has been changed to Room 241. Visitors and interested bikers are invited to attend. McHenry County Bicycle Club membership has soared to an all-time high of 288 members. \ Rides are held several times a week during the summer, and are geared to a wide range of hiking ability. Mileage ranges from six miles to 100 miles. There are various types of rides, from races to potluck rides, metric centuries to pizza rides. A.
