According to police, at the home of one offender, officers found silver coins, identified as property taken from the David Roche residence, 6422 Rawson Bridge Road, Cary. Police said a juvenile ac­ complice of Peters was referred to juvenile authorities. Court date set for CL man on 'chop shop' A By Angela Burden Plaindealer News Service • V ' i A Crystal Lake man, allegedly involved in a stolen car "chop shop" operation, is scheduled to appear in court July 31 in con­ nection with charges of possession of stolen motor vehicles. Salvatore S. (Sam) DeCesare, 37, 3710 Riverside Drive, was indicted Feb. 7 by McHenry County Grand Jury on the charges. The bill of indictment had been sealed by a Feb. 8 order of the court until last week, when a warrant was served on DeCesare, who is free on $10,000 bond. The court hearing is set in 19th Judicial Circuit Court before Judge Michael Sullivan. The charges against DeCesare reportedly stem from an Illinois te Police investigation of a chop shop near Marengo last year. A witness to the accident told state police investigators that the trailer was removed from the accident scene before police arrived. The trailer, carrying two cut- up, or "chopped," 1982 Cor­ vettes, was found at a nearby farm.
