Members of McHenry * Community High School Class of 1934 recently held a reunion with a brunch at Chapel Hill Country Club. Forty seven attended, including 27 classmates out of 54 in the graduating class. Sixteen members of the class are deceased. Some of the members had not seen (Hie another in 50 years. DANIEL RAPP Plan island honeymoon Ten days in the romantic Hawaiian islands, including Oahu, Kauai and Maui, with a one-day tour of San Francisco on the return trip, was in the honeymoon plans of recently married Mr. and Mrs. Daniel T. Rapp. The bride is the former Colette Marie Wipper. Hie groom is the son of Eleanor A. Rapp of Oak Park, HI. The couple repeated their wedding vows during a 4:90 p.m. ceremony Saturday, June 30, before Dr. Eric J. Snyder in Faith Presbyterian Church, McHenry. Special music for the occasion was "N6w and Forever" and "Just You and I." The bride was attired in a gown of ivory satin with a chiffon overlay. The bodice was fashioned of ivory lace, featuring a sweetheart neckline and long, full chiffon Suzanne Wipper and Susan Smith, both of McHenry, Lisa Poco of Chicago and Ann Seidel of Park Ridge. Attendants wore off-the- shoulder, floor length, orchid taffeta dresses with an ivory chiffon overlay, empire waistline, and accents of ivory satin ribbons and bows. Wreaths of lilac and ivory silk flowers, with ribbons trailing down the back, adorned their heads. Eric Seidel of Park Ridge was the best man. Groomsmen were Mike Rapp of Cincinnati, Chip Martin and David Donatelle, both of Chicago, and Tony Phillips of Indiana. Dyliui J. Hoffman of McHenry was the ring bearer and ushers were Scott J. Bridesmaids were Meeting set Nutrition and Weaning is the topic for the McHenry-Fox La Leche League meeting to be held Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 7:90 p.m. La Leche League is a self- help group dedicated to promoting good mothering through breastfeeding. Some of the points of discussion will be the league's belief that breast milk is the superior infant food and the increased awareness in good nutrition for the entire family. Delaying introducing solid food into the baby's diet will provide an interesting discussion, as well as baby-led weaning, which is an important concept in child rearing. Available at the meetings is a lending library with many ex­ cellent books on such subjects as breastfeeding, childbirth and nutrition.
