The group blends western swing, blues, and bluegrass styles. The Whites followed with two additional recordings that made it to the top 10 within the next year, the "Hangin' Around" and "I Wonder Who's Holding My Baby Tonight?" In addition to their numerous appearances at major fairs, festivals, and concerts in the United States, The Whites have toured extensively for the U.S. government's National Council for Traditional Arts. In 1980 the group performed in Japan, Thailand, Burma, Pakistan, and India, and in the spring of 1981 toured the Mediterranean countries of Turkey, Cypriis, and Greece, and became the first American country music act ever to perform in Portugal. The Whites' vocal harmonies are handled by Buck, Sharon, Cheryl, and younger sister Rosie. They are joined by Jerry Douglas on Dobro, and Neil Worf on drums.
