Their demeanor is similar to that of salesmen, and I tend to avoid salesmen. So, I stare a church ceilings. Wedding photographers are guaranteed to do two things: Take pictures and slow things down after the ceremony. We've all experienced the one-hour wait for wedding pic­ tures. After the emotional peak of the wedding, you want to honk your horn or have a drink or eat. But you wait. They also happened to be my sister and my parents. Who can remember names? ' I knew I was using generic terms - "Hey, you in the white, over here." - but I didn't care. I had pictures to take. I even got the looking-at-the-watch shot. Two of them. I even took pictures inside the church during the ceremony, which I considered something of a risk, not knowing now God stands on cameras in the church.
