The county board should regularly consider the insurmoun­ table effects of the decisions it makes. Whether dealing with waste disposal, protection and best use of agricultural and residential land or economic development, we need to deter­ mine and identify clearly the short- and long-term effects of our decisions. 1. The county board is made up of 24 members -- eight from each district. I feel this gives the people of this county fair representation. Besides my business background, I feel I'm gaining ex­ perience serving on the board. I am not comfortable, answering this question. The issues that face the board are vast. I was owner of Ladybug Gifts and Antiques and am present owner of Longmeadow Antiques. I am an active member of McHenry County Defenders, I attend county board meetings and meetings of the Economic Development Commission. I manage over 200 acres of farmland and hold both an In­ surance brokers license and a real estate brokers license. 2. t would definitely be receptive to what the public wanta and needs. I would like economy to be practiced in every department and one way to do this is to charge larger fees for county services, such as in the county clerk's office and the recorder of deeds. I think the public defender should also charge for their services when the client is able to pay. 3. Bachelor of education degree and numerous graduate courses. 4.
