WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7.1984 Bus trip set to dance ensemble The McHenry Park Department te planning a bus trip to see the Chicago Repertory Dance Ensem­ ble on Saturday, Dec. 1. The Chicago Repertory Dance Ensem­ ble will be performing three dif­ ferent styles of dance: Jazz, modern and classical. They will be performing at the Woodstock Opera House at 2 p.m. The cost for the balcony seats will be $8 for students (18 and under) and $12 for adults. The fee in­ cludes the bus and ticket. The bus will depart from McHenry City Hall at 1 p.m. All reservations are to be made at the McHenry Park Department of­ fice. All registration is on a come, first serve basis. No mail on Veteran's Day The McHenry Post Office will operate on a holiday schedule Monday, Nov. 12 in observance of Veterans' Day. Postmaster Leroy Smith said regular residential and business deliveries will not be made, and post office lobby services will not be available with the exception of post office box service. Special delivery and Express Mail Service will continue during the holiday weekend. Mail pickup from collection boxes also will be on a holiday schedule, as posted on individual boxes, or determin­ ed boxes, or determined by calling the post office. She is an electronic switcher systems specialist with the 1853rd Information System -Maintenance Squadron at SAC headquarters, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. RAYMOND HORNUNG III Pfc. Raymond A. Hornung 111, son of Raymond A. Hornung Jr. of Island Lake, has been decorated with the Army Achievement Medal at Fort Bragg, N.C. The medal is awarded to soldiers for accomplishment, meritorious ser­ vice or acts of courage. Hornung is an indirect-fire infantryman with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is a 1983 graduate of Wauconda High School. ' MICHAELBADGLEY Marine Cpl. Michael A. Badgley, son of Joan E. Middaugh of 3620 James St., McHenry, has reenlisted for five years while ser­ ving with the Third Marine Air­ craft Wing, Marine Corps Air Sta­ tion, El Toro, Cal. A 1980 graduate of McHenry West Campus High School and a 1982 graduate of McHenry County College, he join­ ed the Marine Corps in May, 1981; Volo Bog gets grant-- State Rep. Dick Klemm has an­ nounced -that the Illinois Depart­ ment of Conservation has receiv­ ed notification of an award for a grant to the Volo Bog State Natural Area and Nature Center for Conservation Project Support.
