Prior to her employ* raent, she was employed by the Citizens Bank in Waukegan for fourteen yean in various capacities. Virginia was past president and is currently active in the MeHenry Business and Professional Women's Club. She resides in MeHenry. FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF McHENRY JUNE ADAMS June Adams joined the Bank in August of 1974, being assigned at that time, to the Bookkeeping Depart ment. Currently, June works in the Banks' Loan De partment as Loan Officer working in such areas as Commercial, Real Estate and Student Loans. ELM ST., McHENR Y GWYNNE POYNER Gwynne Poyner joined the bank in 1976 being as signed to the teller department. In 1977 she was promoted to teller supervisor, a job she performed until she was asked to manage the Island Lake facility which opened in November, 1913. Having completed that task ,she was reassigned to the new account de partment at the bank's main office. Gwynne, her hus band Rich and their three children, Rich, Jr., Tom, and Penny live in MeHenry. For the preceding nine years, abe was employed by the First National Bank of Skokie in their auditing and opera tions areas. Gayle and her husband, Jim are Johns burg residents. As counter manager, Kathy oversees the front counter operatiod and makes sure the clothing and cash transactions run smoothly. Besides her counter duties, Kathy also combines ef forts with Cookie Howard in the drapery rehang de partment. A long-time MeHenry resident, Kathy has hjfo children, Bob 21 and Kris 17. During the past fifteen years, she has served the bank in various capa cities including; Head Bookkeeper (1969), Assistant Cashier and Auditor (1976), and promoted to Cashier in 1979. HORN As an owner of Mane Tamers ft Co., Kathy is in* volved in all phases of the salon's management. She and her . partners are creative, caring women who opened the salon with a commitment to offer the peo ple of MeHenry more than just hairstyling. Their staff is growing with dedicated professionals who pro vide a total service salon for all members of the fam ily. The staff attends seminars ft workshops regularly to further their expertise. Kathy specialises in custom hair colour, and along with the other stylists, caters to the individual's needs in all aspects of hair, nail ft skin care. In her years of experience she has handled all aspects of the dry-cleaning operation, including pres sing, inspection, repairs ft counterwork. The life long MeHenry Native primarily handles the drapery rehanging service at Mr. Dons. She had two children. Dean 21 and Kristie 19, and 'is the wife of Ron Ho ward. MR.
