KAREN PEPPING SALLY MILLER Sally, artist and co-owner of Richmond's newest art gallery, is a pioneer in the art of scratchboard. Hav­ ing expanded the existing medium, she displays both originals and limited edition prints, also in the form of collectible plates and figurines by Modern Masters, Ltd. which are distributed nationwide. Her proof of the print "Newborn Fawn" was presentd to Gov. Thompson when the white-tailed deer became the state animal and now hangs in the Illinois State Mu­ seum. We 3 Gallery also displays framed originals in oil, watercolor and pen and ink. Sally, along with Ka­ ren Pepping and Lori Wilhelm is a charter founder of the Northland Area Art League. An established local artist, she is best known for her pen and ink drawings of doorways and local landmarks as- well as her beautiful oil and watercolor paintings. She specializes in gra­ phics design, designs film presentations for corporate clients and does commission work drawing people's homes. We 3 Gallery is a working studio as well as the charming showplace for the works of Karen, Lori and Sally. WE 3 GALLERY 10329 MAIN STREET, RICHMOND DEBBI GARNER Debbi Garner opened Image Makers Hair Studio in Spring Grove seven years ago subsequent to* obtaining experience & expertise in the field of beauty at Puff Hairdressers in Deer field. She married in 19t0 and her husband, Jay, became a partner in the business. Their business acumen became more apparent as the hair studio expanded A added both a tanning spa and a certified massage therapist. A 1973 graduate of Don Roberts School of Beauty, Debbie increases her profi­ ciency by j>eriodically attending hairstyling seminars and classes. RT. 12SPRING GROVE CAROL BUCHERT Carol Buchert began her business career as a book­ keeper at Richmond Bank, 10910 Main Street in Rich­ mond, where she and her husband Dick still live. Af­ ter a 7-year hiatus to raise her two daughters, Carol returned to the Bank where she has risen to the posi­ tion of Assistant Cashier. Carol is currently Manpger of Richmond Bank's Premium-Gift-Plus-Interest Plan and involved in coordinating customer's C.D. purchases with their selection of gifts such as VCR's, TV's, microwave ovens, stereos, and luggage sets. RICHMOND BANK 10910 MAIN STREET RICHMOND MARCIA ORSOLINI Marcia Orsolini is a multi-talented woman who de­ lights the patrons of Orsolini's as she entertains them and leads the singing each weekend with the help of the Singing Machine. Her enthusiasm is contagious as she gets everyone involved in her 'Search for Stars'. Marcia also assists with parties and on holidays, tends bar and competently fills in where needed. She lives in Richmond with her husband, Al. and 2 sons, David (11) A Adam |i|. Marcia is in her 10th yr. of teaching 2nd A 3rd graders at Richmond Grade School; she coaches Jr. High volleyball: she entertains at private parties and weddings. All this adds up to a very busy lifestyle for Marcia Orsolini. but if anyone can handle KIM CASTILLO Kim has been associated with the nursery business all her life which makes her a natural as manager of Plants A Things, a family-owned A operated busi­ ness. Her duties which includes purchasing, pricing, sales and landscape design, are an integral part of the business. A 1982 graduate of Alden-Hebron High School. Kim is expanding on her knowledge in this field by working on her A.4. in Landscape Design at McHenry County College. Kim liven in Kichmond with her Hu».band. Victor.
