McHENRY NAUTILUS m MILL ST., McHENRY Fact sheet reveals growth of women in labor force A "Factsheet On Women," published by Community Ser vices, American Council of Life Insurance, revealed the following generalizations designed to stimulate thought and ideas. - Women account for 60 percent of the growth in the U.S. labor force since 1971. Over 80 percent of working women are concentrated in sales, service, clerical, crafts, factory, plant or similar jobs. Rising education of women will increase their demands for equal opportunities in the job maket. The traditional axiom that women work for "pin money" has been shattered, as illustrated by the number of women-married, single, divorced, widowed and separated-who work to support themselves and their families or who work to supplement family income.
