They include refunds from Super Glue, Del Monte and Johnson and Johnson. I try to be patient, and wait 12 weeks before I send a follow-up post card on a refund that^ias not arrived. I don't send this card to the address on the refund offer, but instead address it to the manufacturer's customer relations department at the address on the product package. Coupon Clipper This follow-up card usually brings a response within a week or two. If three weeks go by and I don't hear anything, I must assume that the company's customer relations department is also asleep at the switch, and this is news I feel obligated to report to the president of the company. If I don't have his name handy, I address my letter to "Office of The President" and it usually arrives at the right desk. It also brings action and I get satisfaction! What do I do if I still don't hear anything? Naturally, I change brands. P.S.- I called Del Monte to find out why you had not received your $10 telephone certificate. I was told that the response to the offer had been heavy and you should soon be receiving your certificate. Just in case you remember a refund or other offer you haven't received, the following ex­ perience shows it is never too late to write. Dear June-Three years ago I sent the Nestle Company my proof of purchase and handling fee for two Nestle Quik bunny mugs. I never received them. Recently I came across the address of the Nestle customer relations department and I thought, "Why not?" I sent my letter and a few days ago I came home to find two packages sitting on my porch.
