ITALIAN FEST SET An Italian Fest, sponsored by the parish council, is set for Mar. 10 in the church hall of Christ the King Catholic Church, Wonder Lake. The menu in cludes homemade spaghetti and meat balls, Italian sausage, salad, bread and butter, homemade desserts, and coffee, served from 1 to 3 p.m. Ac cordion entertainment will be provided by Mario from 1 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. The public is invited. NURSES MEET The 16th District Illinois Nurses Association will hold its monthly meeting March 11, in the Red Cross building, 535 N. Lake St:, Mundelein, 111., just south of the intersection of routes 176 and 45. A social hour will begin at 7 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7:30. Dr. Boone Goldberg, chief of pulmonary, North Chicago Veterans Administration hospital will speak on Aspiration Pneumonia. Mary Ann Stott, on the left, and Violet Haack, members of the College of Regents committee donned their togas to get the feel of serving in them at the "Ides of March Dinner Dance" sponsored by the Women of the Moose. The event will take place Saturday, March 2, in the new McHenry Moose lodge, Route 31 and Johnsbnrg Road. A cornish hen dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., and dancing will begin at 9. Those Joining in the spirit of the evening by wearing togas will receive a complimentary glass of wine. Tickets at $6 per person will be sold at the door. All members and guests are urged to attend. The mother of the bride chose a floor length lavender dress with pleated front bodice and skirt and a ruffled collar. A soft flowing, silky, ivory floor length dress with a lace overblouse, tied at the waist with a satin ribbon was the choice of the groom's mother. Following the ceremony, a reception for 70 guests was held in the Fireside Room of the church. Upon their return from a honeymoon at the Holiday Inn "Holidome" in Milwaukee, Wis., the newlyweds took up residence at 1814 Indian Ridge, McHenry. The bride graduated from Calvary Christian Center, Crystal Lake, in 1980; attended McHenry County College two years and Eastern Illinois University one year. She is a microfilmer at Central States Microfilm, Cary, 111. The groom graduated from Johnsburg High School in 1981; attended automotive diesel schools in the navy; and is employed in the maintenance department of Gearmaster, McHenry.
