CHRISTENING Daren Scott Suchor, first born son of Dennis and Denise (Parenti) Suchor received the sacrament of Baptism Sunday, March 17, at 1 p.m. at the Church of St. Mary of the Assumption in McHenry. The chosen godparents were uncle Chuck and aunt Dawn Miller of McCullom Lake. After the ceremony, per­ formed by Father Gaynor and assisted by Ryan Miller, cousin of Daren, a buffet dinner was served at the Suchor home on Fountain Lane. The menu in­ cluded Italian beef, fried pep­ pers, lasagne, artichoke frittata, tossed salad, potato salad, baked beans and dreamsicle ello. The main dessert was a ilue eyed, blonde haired angel cake with chocolate filling. The guests included close family members, friends and Dennis's godparents, Jim and Laurie Schwarz from Des Plaines and Denise's god- a rents, Allen - and Marie cKim from McCullom Lake. Daren received many beautiful gifts, and acood time was haTJ ijy-ati on ims blessed event. EASTER CARNIVAL The annual event will take place Saturday, March 30, down at the beach nouse. This year, plastic eggs will be used in place of hard Doiled eggs. Each plastic egg will be filled with a surprise. The Beach Gals are asking for donations of plastic eggs which run about the same price as fresh eggs. If you can donate, please drop off the plastic eggs at Sandy Lasco's house, located 4902 Maple Hill, before March 29. Her number is 385-1802 if you wish to call her.
