Not so at Johnsburg Junior High. In late February, the Ad­ vanced Band traveled to Nor­ thwestern University for its annual spring tour. Following a two-hour rehearsal and lunch, the group split into sectional rehearsals with music majors and music education classes at Nor- ; thwestern University. The top 12 players from each participating school combine to form the honors band. On Thursday, April 18, the 5th and 6th grade band and choir will present the spring concert.
