The Mental Health Resource League donated $700 to FISH to cover the yearly cost of typing and mailing our monthly newsletters and schedules. A man in his eighties just recovering from surgery needs transportation to Elgin for treatment four-days-a- week for six weeks. His wife has just recovered from surgery also, and his daughter who is em­ ployed can take him every Monday. This certainly seems like a FISH-type helping hand. We will not be conducting an Easter Drive this year. Also, we have had many problems resulting from trying to place donations of furniture and ap­ pliances, mostly due to no storage facilities. Our participation in this process of survey evaluation demonstrates to our patients and to our communities that we are committed to maintaining high professsional standards for quality com­ passionate patient care." The commission is composed of representatives from five national health care organizations: The American College of Surgeons, the American College of Physicians, the American Dental Association, the American Hospital Association and he American Medical Association.
