This five-week wrestling program will be scheduled as follows: Session 1: Kindergarten - second grade, Wednesdays, starting April 10, the fee is $7. Registration opens at 8 a.m. at the McHenry Park Department Office, located in City Hall. All registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. All fees and a completed roster must be turned in at the time of registration. The league fee will be $250 for this season. A non-resident fee of $75 per team will be added to any league fees, and will be'assessed to all teams that do not meet the minimum of 80 percent McHenry residents on their roster. Biathlon May 12 CRYSTAL LAKE -- The Lakers Running Club will hold its Midwestern Biathlon Championship Sunday, May 19, at 10 a.m., at Crystal Lake South High School. The 10 kilometer (6.2 nme) road run will be followed by a 30 kilometer (18.6 mile) bike race. The competition is open to both males and females. There will be eight age groups per category, and t-shirts will be given to all entrants. Only the first 500 entries will be accepted. The fee is $10 prior to May 12, $15 thereafter. Softball in Lake Geneva LAKE GENEVA - Registration is now underway for the T.»w> Geneva City Softball Leagues. The leagues will be slow-pitch leagues for both adult men and women aged 18 and above. The season is tentatively scheduled to run from May 13 through August 23. All games will be held at the Dunn Field in Lake Geneva, and league days will be Monday - women, Tuesday - men, Wed­ nesday - mixed, Thursday - men, Friday - men. Cage camps slated EUREKA -- Eureka College basketball coach Dave Darnell announces three separate basketball camps which will be held in June. The camps will be held at the Reagan Center on the Eureka College campus. Featured .at the camp will be National Basketball Association Kiyers Roger Phegley, Mickey Johnson, and the Bulls' Dave rzine. Also, Cathy Boswell, a member of the women's U.S. Olympic Team, and many prominent Illinois high school coaches will also be featured, including New Trier girls' mentor John Schnieter. The girls' camp, for those entering fifth through 12th grades, will be from June 23-28. There will be two sessions for the boys, for those entering fifth through 12th grades. The first will be from June 9-14, the second from June 16-21. There will also be a session for Class A high school teams, from June 16-21. Tuition ranges from $145 for resident campers, to $95 for non­ residents living at home. For the team, the camp tuition is $145 per team member. Camp membership for the team session is limited. Tennis courts open I With the warm spring weather apparently just around the corner, all tennis courts nave been cleaned and repaired. The City of McHenry Department of Paries and Recreation has installed tennis nets at Petersen Park, Knox Park and Freund Field. The use of the courts are on a first-come, first-served basis. Courts will be racketed and must be changed on an hourly basis. Adults have priority on all courts after 3 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.
