Topic of the presentation will be "The Medical Malpractice Crisis: How It Effects Your Costs and the Availability of Your Medical Care." ' * ' '• • Almost 400 public meetings of physicians, patients, legislators and hospital administrators have occurred to date to voice concern over current imbalance in the medical malpractice system. The current medical malpractice crisis has a very expensive impact on health care consumers. Over $1 billion annually is now wasted on medical malpractice related costs, without bettering the quality ^of health care or bringing justice more efficiently to those patients truly injured by malpractice.
