An immunologist and bac­ teriologist with more than 250 scientific publications to his credit, Dr. Waksman served 15 years on the Yale campus as a researcher and faculty member and 15 on the Harvard medical staff before joining the MS Society in 1978. He is respon­ sible for administering the research program of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society which encompasses the scientific work of 130 in­ vestigators. The concert will begin under the direction of Tom Wilson who will lead the Chamber Orchestra in two movements from Beethoven's Symphony No. 1, Opus 21, followed by the com­ plete Concerto in D Minor for Two Violins by Bach.
