I Deaths Roy C. Lattner Roy G. Lattner, 71, father of Mrs. William J. (Carol) Bolger of McHenry, died Friday, May 3, 1985 in Hines VA Hospital, Hines, 111. Mr. Lattner was a 40-year member of the Chicago Typographical Union 16; his long career included stints as a Linotype operator at the Chicago Daily News, Chicago Herald American and Drovers Journal; and he later became a machinist for Kallis Printing Co. in Chicago. Private burial services were held Monday. Memorials in his name may be made to the Cancer Care Section of Hines VA Hospital. Bradford T. Scott Bradford Thornton Scott, 60, of Julesburg, Colo., died Saturday, May 4, 1985 in Julesburg Hospital, following a long illness. He was born July 25, 1924, in Bloomington, Wis., the son of William and Margaret Scott. On May 1, 1948, in Janesville, Wis., he married the former Marjorie Hackbarth, who passed away in August, 1984. Mr. Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1946; from 1947 to 1951, was manager of Northern Pump Co. Farms in this area; a leader in the cattle industry, he was inducted into the Hereford Hall of Fame in 1982; and in 1978, purchased Scott ranches near Julesburg. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ron (Sandy) Hummel of San Diego, Calif.; a son Randy of Julesburg; two grand­ children; his mother, in Bloomington, Wis.; a brother Gordon Scott of Austin, Minn, and two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Elizabeth) Wegman of Bloomington and Mrs. Dale (Alice) Vogel of Fennimore, Wis. Memorial services were held Monday in Julesburg and will be held in Bloomington Friday, May 10, at 2 p.m., in the United Methodist Church. Lillian H. Hansen Lillian H. Hansen, 60, 4921 McCullom Lake Rd., McHenry, died Saturday, May 4, 1985, in the emergency room of Nor­ thern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. She was born April 9, 1925, in Elmhurst, 111., the daughter of Thomas and Marie (Drews) Christianson. Mrs. Hansen had lived in McCullom Lake the past 35 years; was co-owner of the Copper Mine Tavern in Mc­ Cullom Lake; and belonged to VFW Post 4600, McHenry. She is survived by Dave Hansen; two daughters, Janet Jamieson of Wheeling, 111. and Jill Hansen of McCullom Lake; two sons, Mark (Karen) of Woodstock and Guy of Macon, Ga.; and two grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death. Visitation was held from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, where services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Jerry Foote of Our Savior Free Church, Wheeling. Memorials are requested to the McHenry County Cancer Society. Emma Ortlieb Emma Ortlieb of McHenry died Sunday, May 5, 1985, in Royal Terrace Nursing Home, McHenry. She was 74 years old, born in Poland June 7, 1910, to Ludwig and Emily (Ortlieb) Hintz. Formerly of Ringwood, Mrs. Ortlieb lived in McHenry about 16 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Steve (Alice) Gounis of Chicago and Mrs. Arnold (Emily) Kloepfer of McHenry; three grandchildren; two sisters and one brother in Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband Ludwig Ortlieb, Oct. 11, 1982. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Peter M Justen & Son Funeral Home, where funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by Pastor Roger. Schneider of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery. . Peter V. Mrowka ' • t, Peter V. Mrowka, 69, 4419 Hilltop, Wonder Lake, died in his residence Sunday, May 5, 1985. He w&s born April 28, 1916, in Chicago, to Vincent and Mary Mrowka. A resident of Wonder Lake over 32 years, Mr. Mrowka was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Wonder Lake; had been a self-employed painter and owned Mrowka Painting Co ; was a WW n army veteran; member of American Legion Post 1169 Wonder Lake ; and past commander of the post. Surviving are his wife Anna (Brenner) whom he married in Chicago May 29,1948; two sons, Thomas (Lila) and Alan, all of McHenry; and a brother Frank Mrowka of Chicago. He was preceded by an infant grandson and his parents. Visitation was held after 3:30 Tuesday, with a Wake Service at 7 p.m., in the Justen's Wonder Lake Funeral Home.A Funeral Mass will be conducted by Father Dorrance Tranel at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Christ the King church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials to the Wonder Lake Fire and Rescue Depart­ ment or Masses would be ap­ preciated. LUMBER CO.
