Margaret Karas 385-4934 JIG CATCHES COHO Coho salmon were the challenge when Bill and Betty Kmetz, with sons Mike and John, spent a day fishing in a Lake Michigan bay area in Wisconsin. The salmon were being landed by other fishermen living a «r*>cial lure. Bill quickly surmised the reason, found a store carrying the tinsel tail jig and upon using it, found it to be what Coho wanted. Pictures of the string of fish were examined at the library. Those with son Mike, beaming while holding the catch, were particularly enjoyed. And what was the first meal Betty made? Stuffed baked Coho--the best ever eaten. All this excitement and satisfaction was due to a Christmas type lure and fishermen's determination.
