Pfeiffer's store is currently located on Riverside Drive. "We should be in the new plaza by October 1, 1985/' he said. According to William Tonyan and Sons" Senior Project Manager, Kit Carstens, the plaza has been in the planning stages for six montns, but spaces in the new center are currently being leased. So far, McHenry Opticians is the only confirmed company which will be housed in the plaza, but Pfeiffer said that other businesses likely to.lease space will be a hardware store, a dry cleaning business and a medical practice. "We're going to be well land­ scaped, above normal, and we are spending a fair amount of money on construction techniques," Carstens said. "The owners have gone the extra mile for building costs." According to Carstens, the architect for the project is Ken Schaefer and Smith Engineering is also working on the 20,000 square foot structure. "It's going to be one of the prettiest buildings around ," Pfeiffer said. Hult attends reunion Dr. Frederick E. Hult, of 803 Front Street, McHenry, at­ tended the fifth year reunion of his graduating class from the National College of Chiropractic.
