The public is invited to 404 N. Kensington from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to tour the energy-efficient, passive solar home. The program simulates actual working conditions found at the building site. This program, under the direction of Bill Winkel, has been recognized by the state for its teaching of modern energy conserving and passive solar techniques. Students from other depart­ ments have contributed their creative talents to build the residence. MCHS will hold class this summer McHenry Community High School District 156 announced a summer school program for students wishing to earn high school credit. Classes will meet daily from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. during/the first session and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during the second session. First semester classes will run from Monday, June 10, through Friday, June 28. The second semester runs from Monday, July 1, through Friday, July 19. Classes will include math, English, U.S. history, consumer economics, physical education and typing. Registrations are being ac­ cepted at East Campus from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuition charges are $37 per semester for Dist. 156 residents and $58 for non-residents.
