Registration sheets are up for Monday afternoons for youngsters through seven, and Tuesday afternoons for eight- year-olds and older. A continuous "Reading of Books" will result in special prizes for all young people keeping records of books read through June and July. Sign up now, as the book reading starts June 1. EAST HONORS Lakemoor students listed on the honor roll at East Campus include Monique Betancourt, Heidi Delp, Terri Godt, Vanessa Urban and Steven Wright. Of special interest to the McHenry Nunda Library, was the listing of Marie Stumpf, who has been on the staff at the library for over a year, and both her siblings, Peter and Julie. Parents Mark and Anne Stumpf must have a feeling of joy and parental pride at seeing the accomplishments of all three of their children. BIRTHDAYS Valerie Keller, Shirley Ab- ner's youngest daughter, celebrated her birthday May 24. Del Douglass, volunteer with the McHenry Fire District, had his day the 25th. Eric Kent of Lilymoor had three candles on his cake, no longer needing the help of his sister to blow them out. Jenny Arneson's birthday is May 31. June birthdays begin witn Chuck Zabroski on the first. Congratulations to Ann Marie Antol of Parkside on her bir­ thday June 3, and also for having been on the honor roll at Marian Central High School. June 4 will be a special day for Billy Goebel, Lily Ann Fisher's son, and Toni Yerkes, that busy ladv with diversified interests from volleyball to go-karting to gardening to ? May 28 found Catherine and Lawrence Ward of Lakemoor celebrating eight years of marriage. Lots of paper will be on the gift list for Millie and Stan Zabroski as they celebrate their " rst anniversary May 31. MEMORIAL SERVICE Deepest sympathy is extended to the Albert Kunz family on the death of Al's mother, Emma, in St. Augustine, Fla. A1 and Anita were hurriedly called to Florida when Emma's sudden illness became critical, resulting in her death May 19. x Also mourning are Al's three sisters and brother and their families. Grandchildren Michael and Heidi will especially miss their grand­ mother, as they had been together almost every summer since the senior Kunzes made their home' in Florida. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Kunz at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at St. Mary's Church in McHenry.
