A busy weekend paid off for Mc­ Henry race driver Chris Maxson, as be captured his first feature win of the year. Maxson, driving his D&J Scales Service midget car, won the feature at the racetrack in Sun Prairie, Wis., Sunday night. Maxson's weekend began Thurs­ day in Morris. On the %-mile oval, Maxson posted a 10th place finsih in the 20-cdar race, which attracted drivers from as far away as Michi­ gan and California. Maxson and crew then trekked to Mendota that same evening to com­ pete on the y^-mlle dirt oval. The race drew an unusually large amount of midgets, 46. In the 12-car, 10-lap heat race, Maxson pulled away from the field to take the checkered flag by a full 10 car lengths.
