One finds within a deadpan innkeeper, a semi-senile handyman, a chamber­ maid who's also an heiress,, a trio of country bumpkin brothers (two of whom are mute and named Daryl), and the innkeeper's wife, Who is so gloriously beautiful she looks like a misplaced movie star. This is the setting for "Newhart," the sitcom built around comedian Bob Newhart. who plays innkeeper Dick LoudOn.
