Sap tarn bar 20, l*M Pag* 5 * Community Sunday School begins Faith Presbyterian Chruch, locat­ ed at the intersection of Lincoln and chapel Hill roads, announces the be­ ginning of Sunday School Sept. 22, at 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. This opening will feature a balloon blast off and "Sun­ dae for Sunday School" at the 9:30 Sunday school hour. Both adults and children are invited to join in this morning of celebration and praise. At the 9:30 hour, classes for chil­ dren from kindergarten through se­ nior high will be offered, as will a Bible study on "The Book of Ro­ mans" taught by the Reverend Dr. Eric J. Snyder. Their new 4800-foot building addition is scheduled to be completed in mid-October. Faith of­ fers worship services at both 8:30 and 10:45 a.m., as well as six weekly Bible studies. Bring your own picnic lunch, etc. SEWING CIRCLE The sewing circle of the Ringwood United Methodist Women will meet Doris Low 653-9262 at the home of Doris Low Thursday, Sept. 26, from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Lorraine Patcb will bring the des­ sert and Katy Christopher will bring salad. " This is One of the last big meetings for the ladies to get together as a large group to work on items for the upcoming Bazaar slated Saturday, Nov. 2. Individuals and small groups are working on various items such ps woven rugs, Christmas orna­ ments, wall hangings, place mats, aprons, pillow cases, etc. Closer to the Ume of the event, the candy making groun will go to work. Santa's little helpers will be busy as bees from now until the big day. FOOD CO-OP - There have been some changes made again for the food co-op order meeting, therefore, all of you who are concerned are requested to call Nancy Daurio or Pat Malo for final details. REMINDER Everyone is invited to attend the Owl Hoot Night Hike on the trails of Glacial Park, just north of Ring- wood. This activity should prove to be a fascinating experience. Meet at the main parking lot at 7 p.m. Sun­ day, Sept. 22. RUMMAGE SALE Plans are now in full swing for the semi-annual Rummage Sale at the Ringwood church Oct. 11 and 12. We will need donations for this and also a lot of workers. Donations may be dropped off at the church anytime after church services Sunday, Oct. 6 through Wednesday, Oct. 10. The earlier the better, as the ladies need Ume to sort and mark all items. mm CLOTHES CLOSET The ladies of the Ringwood church will be working at the Clothing Clos­ et in Woodstock today to help pro­ cess clothing given to the closet. Anyone in the county wishing to do­ nate their time to this worthy cause may do so by calling the Clothing Closet and leaving their name and phone number. JUNIOR CHURCH Junior Church has started at the Ringwood church. This is 15 minutes after th$ regular worship services begin, so bring your children and cometo church at 9 a.m. The children hear a mini chil­ dren's sermon by the Rev. Gordon Smith and then they go to the base­ ment for their own activities. Let's bring the kids and make this a worthwhile time for the volunteer teachers. AUCTION The Ringwood church auction Sept. 14 was a huge success because of all who donated and worked. There was a lot of fellowship, fun and bargains, the food was fantasUc and the popcorn machine made it a festive day. The morning started off on the cloudy side but all concerned prayed a lot and the good Lord de­ cided to make it a beautiful day for the people participating.
