- Died: Sept 2 in her Glenview home.
Employment: noted pediatrician. Began career as a nurse during World War I working at a British and French hospital. She attended John Hopkins University medical school and became a physician in 1924. She retired from active practice in 1948.
She assisted the late Dr. Clifford G. Gulee in the formation of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined the faculty of Rush Medical College in 1927. After her retirement she worked on a study of blood for the Tuberculosis Institute.
Sister of Signode Corp's Chairman of the Board John Woodworth Leslie.
Survived by: also by her sister, Mrs. Alma Wilson of Phoenix, Ariz.
